The Loudest Sound

“The Loudest Sound” is a fundraiser for Oregon Capoeira Raça. Buy a print and help give our event the loudest sound possible! Your donation benefits our annual belt ceremony, which brings teachers and students from Brazil and across the west coast together in Portland for a weekend of training, music and cultural enrichment. Come see your donation in action at "The Loudest Sound" event on May 19th at Center Space Studio, SE 6th and Stark, at 1 p.m. There we will demonstrate Capoeira in a traditional circle or "roda" led by a group of instruments like those you see on your print. Your donations sponsors the presence of an instrument at the head of that circle. With your help, we will have all 8 instruments playing, and the loudest sound possible! $5-$15 for a small print, $20 for a small print and a free capo class, $30-$40 for a big print and class, limit 1 class per donor.
